Danielle L. Montanez, Visual Artist

My name is Danielle L. Montanez. My pronouns are she/her. Currently, I am a undergraduate college student majoring in Psychology and minoring in Studio Art, expected to graduate in 2022. Additionally, I am a teaching artist assistant/ legacy mentor at DreamYard Project. I intend on continuing my education with a Master's in Art Education.

TAP Work:

"I have learned a lot from TAP such as making the classroom inclusive for all students by using different art forms, interview and resume tips for teaching artists, and mindfulness in digital media. I am from the Bronx, NY and in the fieldwork track, I work with Adriana Guzman for Collaborative Art Making."

Most Memorable TAP Moment:

"My most memorable TAP moment would be joining in on the Mindfulness in Digital Media elective with Dale and Adriana. It really changed my perspective and gave me tools to use in my classroom."
