2019 Arts in Education Job Fair


You're invited to the 2019 Arts in Education Job Fair, presented by the New York City Arts in Education Roundtable, Borough of Manhattan Community College, and Community-Word Project with the Teaching Artist Project Cohort.

This May, numerous arts education and cultural organizations from across NYC will come together to engage arts administrators, teaching artists, interns, and students looking to break into the arts in education field. Interested individuals will have the opportunity to learn about organizations and speak with their representatives at fair tables.

Please be sure to bring a PHOTO ID to enter the fair.

The NYC Arts in Education Roundtable, Community-Word Project, Teaching Artist Project, and TAP Cohort are committed to pay equity and pay transparency for teaching artists and arts administrators. Each organization present at the job fair has been vetted for positions offered and pay equity. In 2016 the Teaching Artist Affairs Committee conducted a survey on teaching artist compensation in New York City to better understand the landscape of compensation for TAs in New York City. By taking part in this event, you grant the event organizers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims.
