I was born in the Bronx and I am a lifelong New Yorker. I am a ceramic artist, printmaker and graphic designer. As a child I was always drawing and art has always been a part of my life. I went to the High School of Music and Art and then earned my BFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Although I took my first ceramics class in college, I did not begin to work seriously in clay until 1990 and from that point on was hooked. I currently work with a raku firing process and incorporate printmaking into my ceramic work. When not working, in my studio or taking (or teaching) a yoga class, I enjoy spending time with family and friends or just spending some quiet time reading a good book.
